Medicaid Waiver and Care Management Programs
The Medicaid Waiver, Care Management, and Children’s Waiver programs are in place to assist the eldery with aging safely at home, and to assist disabled individuals in gaining independence in a home setting. Such services are delivered at little or no cost to the consumer based upon financial and/or medical criteria. Payment arrangements may be available for service checks with the Area Aging Agencies and Insurance Companies.
Interdependence has enjoyed several years of providing community based in-home care as a recognized vendor with: Tri-County Office on Aging, Area Agency on Aging 1-B, ALS of Michigan, Macomb-Oakland
Regional Center, Family Independence Agency, and Department of Community Mental Health.
Auto No-Fault Program for Closed Head Injury Rehabilitation
Interdependence has provided specialized in-home care to closed head injury patients in their own homes since 1988, helping to pave the way for in-home rehab care. Services are tailored to foster independent living skills of the client, and carried out under the supervision of a treating team of physicians and therapists.
Payment for such rehabilitative services is received directly from the auto no-fault insurance at no cost to the client. Our auto no-fault carriers have included State Farm, Citizens, AAA of Michigan, Farmers Insurance, and All State.
